Have I ever blogged about how much fun it is take pictures of people I went to high school with??  Pretty sure I have :-) 

Well, this is Carrie and her adorable family.  Carrie and I went to highschool together, played basketball together (she was really good and I just wasn’t a fan of it, ha), we all had “hot tub” nights or “spa nights” at my house and had our “teacher assistant” hour together our senior year.  Being a Teacher’s Assistant just meant that you hung out with your designated teacher for an hour and if they needed help with stuff, you helped them.  If you needed to homework,  you could homework……or in our case, you could just run back and forth between Mrs. Eitel’s & Mrs. Berry’s classroom doing stupid stuff.    Here’s some proof :-)

It was fun to catch up with Carrie and reminisce on our Panther day’s :-)  FYI- Panthers was a traveling basketball team we were all a part of and Carrie’s dad was the coach.  I think we all had more fun than any other team and it turns out we were pretty darn good.  I was just in it for the fun, the traveling aspect and the friends :-)   I was never a super big fan of sports.  Every now and then I would join in just because my friends did.  Eventually I came to realize that I was a much better “cheerleader” (I was never a cheerleader either) to all my friends and their activities….I just liked to have themed get together at my house, organize scavenger hunts, leave people fun notes on their locker and go all out on spirit days :-)  

Anywoo- back to the Yates Family.  Carrie married Caleb and they have two adorable kiddos.  Ms. Kaylie is 3 and Mr. Hunter is brand new :-)  It was so fun seeing Carrie with babies and a husband.   Oh man does life move quickly! 

Carrie- It was so nice getting to catch up with you and meet your family.  I will start organizing our Christmas get together :-)  Enjoy your sneak peek!

I’m back in STL for a week!!!!  I know- crazy, right? 

I drove back last night and ruined the whole “day of having all the sisters home at once” thing.  Sara & the kids got into town yesterday afternoon so, for a couple of hours, all the sisters were home.  Then I left last night after dinner and ruined it before I even knew it happened.  I didn’t realize it till I got home last night and read Allison’s blog.  Sorry mom :-)

The reason I came back to STL (other than the fact that I do actually live here, believe it or not)  was so that I CAN WORK!!!  As much as I try- it is somewhat hard to work when you have bunches or your nieces & nephews running around, the sun out and a pool in your backyard :-)  So my deal was that, if I was going to bail and head back to St. Louis Thursday night….i was going to spend Thursday just hanging out with everyone.   Kaitlin & I styled Carson’s hair like Pauly D off Jersey Shore, I chased Carson because he was running around with no pants on while Molly & her friends were over for open lunch, we had conversations with Kaitlin about becoming a mommy (very entertaining), played in the pool with the kiddos, visited with everyone, had a yummy dinner (thanks mom & dad!), visited with my mom’s friends that came by for dinner and then hit the road.  

Now I’m workin, workin, workin!
