So I lost between 5 & 6 lbs and zero inches.  pish!  We’re not even going to talk about it- I’m just going to announce the FOUR winners who will each get $60 because I round up.  ALSO- I included everyone who put 5 OR 6 pounds in their guess….so there was a bigger chance of winning….you’re welcome :-)

Easter Weekend…………….

Well to kick things off, we took pictures of this little cutie who is a whole 10 weeks old!!!  AND Mr. Owen held his head up for like 2 minutes, such a strong baby boy :-)

Then these two crazy  little girls had a hot tub party :-)

So on Saturday- I had these grand plans of getting Ellie, Briley & Bella up to the field where I normally take pictures.   Last month, we got out my mom’s old baby bed and put it together so I could use it for pictures this Spring & Summer.  I wanted to try it out and see what all I need to do, so I figured the girls would be a good test run.  Well…..Briley was taking a nap and we couldn’t wake her up because she had her big birthday party that night….we wouldn’t want a grumpy birthday girl :-)  Then Bella wanted NOTHING to do with pictures.  So it was just Ellie and she was SOOOOOOO excited and so awesome!  That little Ellie is once of the sweetest things i’ve ever seen :-)  For example: she worked out with my the other night (truth be told, both her and Briley worked out with me….but Briley ditched us after the warm-up) and after we were finished she said, “thank you so much for letting me work out with you!”   awwwwwww :-)    ANYWAY-  she was my little test run.  Me, my mom, my dad, Ali & Ellie all headed up to the field (THANK YOU GUYS) and gave it all a shot.  Oh…..and we found a snake….gross.  So I’ve decided that I really only want to use this crib for evening shoots (I think it would be prettiest in that light) or afternoon shoots that are in complete shade.  I also need to get a mattress so that you can see the quilt more and I want to had big, fluffy pillows and different little accents for different shoots.  I think it’s going to be super cute for shoots!!!!  Obviously we didn’t really do anything major with this shoot, I just wanted to see what all I needed.   Thanks to my family for helping me :-)

Then it was time for a Super Hero Party for the BIG FOUR YEAR OLD!!!!!   Andy & Autumn did such a great job and I think everyone had a blast.  The kids especially had a lot of fun :-)  LOTS of funny pictures from that evening, love them!

 

 

He said it stood for Amazing Andy, but we all decided it was for Awkward Andy :-) Like father, like daughter! Two peas in a pod :-)

So Bella’s in a stage where she’s not much for participating and any sort of shenanigans that feel to forced to her. She’s a little like her daddy :-) She was excited about the super hero party and she loved making mask…but putting on the cape and asking her to smile and do a super hero stance for a pictures was taking it too far. The picture on the left makes me laugh SO hard :-) So then they all went out in the yard and played, Bella was loving it- running and laughing- then Ellie decided to give her a big hug, but again….that’ wasn’t a good idea. Right after this picture was snapped, Bella yelled at ellie, “Ewwie- don’t do that!!!! That’s not nice!!!”

Now I’m going to show you what I made Briley for her birthday.  I was SO excited about it, I think I showed EVERYONE before the actual birthday…I’m not good at keeping surprises :-) I got the idea from HERE and just put my own spin on it. 

She loved it, so of course it made my day :-)

The two mini super hero’s got together hang out during the party :-) Do you remember Miss Macy from her photo shoot about 2 months ago?? I love her cheeks :-)

Then came the big day…..EASTER.  Here are som high-lights from Easter Mass:  I got spit-up on twice during Easter service, Kaitlin forgot Owen’s formula and had Zane run back to the house to get it.  Just as he left we realized Sara had formula….Kaitlin hid the bottle from Zane when he got back and just pretended like Owen wasn’t hungry :-)   Oh…and Owen’s car seat fell SMACK on the floor during a quiet part of Mass…luckily Owen wasn’t in the carseat….but I was laughing so hard I was crying.  Kaitlin’s reaction was priceless :-)   

Then it came time for the big Easter Egg Hunt!!!!!   I gave my mom my camera so that I could get serious about taking some people out and winning the Golden Egg!  The kids made funny faces for grandma while they waited on Papa to finish hiding the eggs :-)

Oh wait....no....he's being typical Andy and just pulling on their shirts so they can't run :-)

and then it happened…………..I FOUND IT!!!!!! 

and no, I didn't not brag when I found it. I simply put it in my bag and moved on.....

Well....I might have said, "IN YOUR FACE!!!" to Ellie. I can't remember, but judging by the look on her face- I think I did :-)

So here’s the part where I look like a (pardon me) jackass.  I’m running around, bragging, yelling and then I’m informed by my mom that Ali had suggested to everyone before the hunt started that they should give the money to me in the end because of my whole theft fiasco.   Why don’t you just push me off my pedestal, slam my face into the ground and kick me in the stomach???  Obviously some of them decided not to give me their money after my severe display of arrogance :-)  Oh it was so funny!!!!  SO THANK YOU FAMILY!!!!!!!!  I was also given random cards, cash and gift cards throughout the weekend because my family felt so bad for me…..seriously???  who else has a family that would be this sweet??  anyone??  anyone??  I LOVE THEM!!!!! 

Side note:   We found a frog in the hot tub and Sara was joking with Bella that she should kiss it and see if it turns into a prince.  Bella’s been watching A LOT of The Princess & The Frog.  Bella looked at her mom with a look of, “you really think so??!?!?”  and marched on over like the brave little girl she is and KISSED THE FROG!!!!!  Not kidding- Bella Sedlak kissed the frog.  Would have NEVER thought she would do that.  She cracks me up :-)

I love that the picture of Andy from the back shows the words on his boxers-just adds a special touch :-) Oh, and I kind of talked about giving the money to you before the hunt but not really with people involved in it. But then when I mentioned it afterwards, everyone kind of acted like I didn’t say anything and quickly put their money in their wallets. You better have taken the money on the mantel.
