H o l y  s m o k e s.  What a day… 

First off- I have a silly amount of sneak peeks for you.  Like sneak peeks from a week ago!!  A week???  Are you kidding me??  No I am not :-)  This weekend was crazy, my parents internet was running slow so getting sneak peeks up and going was hopeless, I didn’t get back to St. Louis until Monday night, I edited like crazy on Tuesday and I planned on using this morning for getting sneak peeks up……but I wanted to run my car by the dealership real quick because it was making a funny noise.  I figured I could run it in, they would tell me what was wrong with it and I could schedule a more convenient time to get it worked on .   

Not the case…. 

Here’s how it went:

Me to serviceman guy:  Hi, I had an appointment at 10:00 to get my car looked at.

Blah, blah, blah

Serviceman to me:  Go ahead and take a seat, it should be able 45 minutes

 

An hour and a half later………

 

Serviceman to me:  There’s something wrong with your car.

In my mind: NO KIDDING?? 

Serviceman to me:  I have a call into the rep, blah, blah, blah but usually he doesn’t call me back until 3 or 5 (this was at 11:30….like hell I’m staying here till 3 or 5) and once I hear back from him, I’ll have a better idea of what’s wrong and what we need to do.   As for now,  you should probably find alternate transportation because we don’t feel safe with you driving the car of the lot.

Me to the serviceman:  awesome.  So you don’t know what it is or what caused it??

Serviceman to me:  Well we have somewhat of an idea, but like I said we can’t no fore sure till I hear back from that guy.

Me to Serviceman: so how long do you think you’ll need to keep it??  2 or 3 days??

Serviceman to me:  I would say till the end of next week…as in like a week and a half

 

This is where I about passed out on the floor

 

Me to serviceman:   um, um, um,  okay.  I guess I….Um, um, um.  Okay that’s fine.  Ummmmmmmmmmm I can’t do this.   Did you see the back of my car??  No I’m not some crazy person carrying around weird stuff, that’s all stuff I need for photo shoots!!  I’m a photographer.  I’m in my busy season and I have to be out of town at the end of next week.  

Ok- I didn’t really say all that stuff, but I did do the whole “umm, okay, um, um, um” bit as my brain was going a million miles a minute trying to figure out a plan.  

I call Audrey to see if she can pick me up over her lunch hour and swing me by my apartment.  LUCKILY I have an awesome best friend and she totally picked me, drove to her work and then let me take her car from there so that I could do my photo shoot this evening.   

So I drop Audrey off at her work and head back to my apartment.  It’s like 1:00 and I remembered I haven’t had anything to eat today….that must be why my head is pounding and I’m grouchy :-)  I went and grabbed something to eat, got half way back to my apartment and realized I left my apartment keys at the dealership………..fanfreakingtastic!   I drive back to the dealership, get my keys and finally get back to my apartment at 2:00.  I left my apartment at 9:45 this morning and I planned on being back in like an hour at the most.  Needless to say it totally threw off my day.  

So I’ve rented a car for a few days (maybe more depending on what they find out about my car tomorrow), got the sneak peeks ready, did a shoot, went and took Audrey her car and did dinner, she dropped me off at my apartment and now I’m finally getting ready to get my work day/ night started.   Whew! 

I think it’s going to be a longggggggg night :-)

Now that I’ve done my venting- who wants to see some sneak peeks??   I’m so behind, but luckily all my clients are patient and put up with my crazy schedule :-)    Since I’m so crazy busy- I’m just going to post these and get back to working.

Real quick- before you check out this next sneak peek……does Paige not look almost exactly like Bella??  Oh she was so cute and SO like Bella!!  It was almost like having a Monday’s With Bella all over again :-)  Anytime Baby Reese needed a break to go eat….Paige would come on over, plop herself on the bean bag and start being silly :-)
