This was Wednesday morning.....right after she just threw up all over her dad......who was already dressed and ready for work
Poor kid! She can’t get rid of me and she can’t rid of her virus and she can’t get rid of her ear infection.
This was this morning
The good thing is that she got to sleep all day yesterday and had me catering to her every whim.
They’re so sad when they’re sick. I don’t think she moved (voluntarily) more than 4″ yesterday and the only words she said all afternoon was “yeah” when Dr. Matt asked her if she wanted some vanilla wafer cookies for being so good during her appointment. She didn’t eat the cookies, didn’t eat anything else & didn’t drink her juice. She didn’t want to do anything but sleep :-( She slept either on me or the couch most of yesterday and then i was able to lay her in her bed for about 2 hours. She woke up from that nap pretty happy, thirsty & hungry……yayyyyY!!! She took the rest of her medicine like a big girl and was so excited when her mama got home.
I told Sara to let me know if she wanted to watch her today. Might as well let her stay at home, get some rest and kick this virus and ear infection to the curb.
It’s awesome when your sister works as a photographer and can make her own schedule :-) Sara & Ryan always feel bad, but I don’t know why…it’s called being resourceful and using what God gave you, ha! God made me lose my job for this specific reason, so that I’m able to run to whatever family member needs me at last minute…….oh…..and to make my dream life a reality.
This photography thing tends to make me really happy :-)
So anyway, I’m hanging out with Sassy Pants today and I’m happy to report that she’s acting like her normal self. Actually, she’s being really cute right now but I can’t get a picture of it because my camera card is in my computer uploading pictures. She just took off her socks and she’s admiring her painted piggies :-) Today we are going to venture out and get some new “colors” a.k.a crayons and some stinkin cookies. How are you supposed to bribe a kid in this house??? I promised her cookies and the best thing I could find were those N A S T Y/G R O S S/J O K E of a cookie 100 calorie oreo packs.
Seriously Sedlaks…….go get some cookies. Life’s too short not to eat some good/not good for you cookies every now and then. Plus you need them on hand for bribes.
I need to wrap up this post because Bella is climbing on me and is clearly ready to hit the road.
I also wanted to share some pictures from my Tuesday night adventure with my friend Sara. We decided to venture on over to the East Side…….oh just kidding! We went over to the lovely town of Pierron (sp), IL to visit or prego friend Andrea who can’t seem to make it out of her house without tossing her cookies. We sat in some traffic
At least it wasn't bad traffic. I hate it when it doesn't even move. I'm okay with traffice as long as it's moving ....even if it's only 15 MPh.
and then drove into the dark using my very detailed directions
Then we finally arrived!!!! It was so much fun. We brought some Jimmy Johns (at Andrea’s request), some red wine (she is allowed to have a small glass) and some brownie mix (which we didn’t make) and had a good ol’ time. It was fun to see their cute house, meet their annoying dog Charlie (she was annoying me because I made the mistake of giving her my left overs and she loved me forever and didn’t want to leave my side) and it was nice to just sit and talk, laugh & catch up.

Okay- Bella and I are going to finish our Taylor Swift dance party and then head out. Our family loves Taylor Swift so much that we sometimes discuss adopting her…is that wierd???
oh don’t answer that! We would never adopt her, I’m sure she has lovely family.
Poor Bella, that makes Grandma sad…but Andrea looks like she’s feeling better.
Thank you soooooo much Aunt Lis! Bella got exactly what she needed – lot’s of snuggles on Wednesday and lots of spoiling on Thursday. You saved the day and you are the best. I agree with Linda, you would be great in childcare or a children’s author! Ryan and I are so thankful we have you here!
I’m so glad to know that Bella is feeling better :) – I also LOVE Taylor Swift and I think she must have a very nice family to have grown into such a well-grounded young lady!

I think you should adopt Taylor Swift just to keep her away from John Mayer. I like his music….interviews, not so much!
I agree Barb, he needs to stop talking and just sing and we should adopt Taylor….just think what she would add to our family get-togethers!
I agree with Mom … She makes me sad when she is sick. Poor little thing. So happy that she is feeling better. As for Andrea, like I said before. Two words ZOFRAN PUMP! This made life so mcuh easier. :)
