I love it! I’m slowly getting back into my busy season. Love it, love it, love it. Today I even got to go outside for a shoot!!!!! It was absolutely freezing, snowing & my pants ended up being soaked from my knees down…but it was great! It was so nice to get outside and get back to all the wonderful lighting the outdoors offers. Now we just need all this freakin snow to melt, some sun, some color, some blue skies, some margaritas……….oh wait.
Ok- back to the pictures. First Zach & Kate Vincent came over for a shoot with their cute little baby brother Alex. Kate had one of the cutest outfits I’ve ever seen. I was in love with all the bright colors. Her leggings, Zach’s bright orange shirt, Alex’s big blue eyes…it was perfect! Thanks for coming over kiddos and thanks for being so good!!! Leah (their mother)- I PROMISE they were very good. I’m not lying :)

Later this afternoon I met up with Johnna & Scott for some engagement pictures over at Truman. It’s a little different doing pictures at Truman, in the middle of the week, when the kids aren’t on some sort of break. I think Johnna & Scott felt a little silly at times, but overall everything was awesome and we got a lot of adorable shots. It was also snowing during their shoot.
You know…that perfect, big fluffy flakes, slow falling type of snow??
yeah, we got that! It was great :)
I would totally call Johnna a trooper (which she totally was) but she also thought it was a great idea to wear 3″ (estimating) heals with NO socks, in the snow while being prego. Johnna, Johnna, Johnna!!! It made me laugh a lot and it also meant that she got Scott to carry her through the snow drifts. So funny :)
Kudos to Johnna though, way to make it work! I will admit…I would have worn heals to. I love heals and they make me look skinnier. I would have worn heals even if the pictures were taking place in Antarctica.
