{Sneak Peeks}

These were supposed to be posted last night…….then my computer died (my battery only holds charge for like 5 mins) and my power cord decided to stop working…..awesome.   So I went and stole Molly’s power cord because she had to go to school this morning, sucka!

Here we go- first of all, I have to say how wonderful it was to do a photo shoot in normal weather.  Both shoots were soooooooo nice!  It wasn’t 110 degrees with 80% humidity.   Oh Missouri :-)   

I got back from Seaside Saturday night and the Essner Family came to St. Louis for a wedding on Saturday- so we decided Sunday morning was perfect for a photo shoot.   I had done some pictures for Jody when I was in Columbia this past Spring and this time she wanted to get some pictures of both boys together (their 2 & 3 year pictures) and a few family pictures.  

Thank you to grandpa & grandma for helping keep the boys happy, thanks to their dad for chasing them around, throwing them in the air and some how convincing them another outfit change wouldn’t be so bad (they weren’t crazy about the outfit changes), ha!  Enjoy your sneak peek Essner Family :-)

Then on Monday evening I went to hang out with Ms. Neely & her mama.  Neely drove us around her farm to take pictures.  No joke- she did.  She’s a horrible driver, ha!  Neely has the problem most girls have- we just don’t pay attention and are more concerned with talking and messing with the radio.  Love it :-)  She also informed me that they have cows (and that those cow’s say moooo), showed me her barn, told me her dad was on the tractor and fell for all the lies I told her :-)   Those 2 year olds- you just have to keep tricking them, giving them snacks, distracting them, etc.  It involves a lot of little lies about bugs, birds being on my head, Mickey Mouse or Dora living in my camera and whatever sort of nonsense I make up on a whim.  I promise kids ice cream, trips to the pool, trips to Disney World, etc….then I leave and their parents have to tell them I was a big fat liar and there is no trip to Disney World, hahahaha :-)  I promise I will never raise my kids with these lies….I just use them for photo shoots.  I won’t be that bad of a mom :-)

It’s all good though- they smile for a few seconds and I get the picture I want and they parents are relieved.  Actually- I don’t think there parents are relieved until they get to see all their pictures and they get to see how many smiles I actually captured :-)

So anyway- Neely was great (and HYSTERICAL) and I actually think she had fun.  I think she had fun till the cows started running towards her in full force…that’s when she lost it (as did I- turns out we’re both big chickens) and was ready to be done with this crazy photo shoot.
