Zane played baseball for Mizzou, so these were super fun to do! I love them :-)
a HUGE thank you to my dad for modifying that shelf you see in the picture. Another big thank you to Allison for coming up with the idea. It's her shelf and she had this idea to take out one of the shelves and make the bottom shelf deeper so it could hold a baby. It will be great for future newborn shoots because we can place sentimental things on the shelves or hanging out of the drawers at the bottom. Lots of cute potential :-) That monkey was actually Zane's when he was little, awwww!
Does Kaitlin not look AWESOME???? I can not believe this girl just had a baby.....that's what I *might* look like on a really, super, awesome, good day....maybe.....if I'm lucky! By the way- Max totally just sat himself in this picture. We had no intentions of putting him in any of the pictures, but he just walked on up and posed. Then little owen got all perfect again and opened his eyes :-)
So after pictures and a little bit of just hanging out and loving on Owen, we headed over to the hotel to let the kids swim and burn out some energy. We decided to order pizza and just eat in the breakfast room of the hotel. Kaitlin, Zane & Owen ended up coming over and after all was said and done….I think the front desk lady thought we were crazy. We pretty much took over the front/lobby area of the hotel and we were taking bets on whether or not some random stranger would walk in, grab some pizza, some wine (yep- we had wine) and just sit down and eat with us thinking it was like some sort of hotel sponsored event :-)
After that we went bowling at the good ole’ Carroll Bowl. It’s always entertaining to take the kids bowling, it eats up some time, they get to be loud and dance, the boys get some beer, they get to color all over themselves with a yellow highlighter for “Cosmic Bowl Hour” (the turn on black lights and everything glows) , they get to roll a ball on the ground and knock things over, etc.
Lincoln was kinda tired and wasn't super last night, but he was content with his papa, chips & beer....just kidding about the beer :-)

I’m back to St. Louis tomrrow so I can work like crazy, return a bunch of emails and WORKOUT A TON!!!! This weekend was NOT a healthy weekend :-)
I absolutely LOVE all of Owen’s pics and the family ones, too. He is just the sweetest and I can’t wait to smoosh his sweet cheeks. Kaitlin looks amazing! I love the bowling pictures – Briley’s plumber impression, Ellie & Briley prancing on the lane looking all “Scarecrow & Tin Man” in Oz, and the video – Bella almost crawled down the big “step” then changed her mind – hilarious! Always a fun time with your family!
Oh I miss him already. Such a sweet baby. I really like the way the pictures turned out. It is going to be hard for them to choose. And blacklights and hi-liters always make for a fun night :-)

They say pretty people make ugly babies but I guess not this time… Opie is PERFECT!!! And so are all of his pictures. I love them all! He just looks so peaceful! The baseball ones are priceless and I love the new props. The scale and shelf are awesome! And the family ones are perfect – Max cracks me up!!! It was a super short but super fun weekend!
