Oh Mr. Benson….I can’t believe you’re already 18 months.  It’ just crazy :-)

Benson was one of my first newborn shoots way back when, awwww.   Now he’s all grown up and not wanting to fall for any of my tricks, ha!  I think Matt and Amanda were completely taken back by Benson’s lack of smiles, but 18-month shoots are always a little harder and smiles are usually few and far between.  They’re mobile and want nothing to do with staying put for a few pictures.   I usually make the parents do some ridiculous things in order to get some smiles, but Matt & Amanda are always more than willing to dance around, make faces and sing songs.   I knew I always liked those two, ha!   Anyway- 18 month olds are on the move and they’re also not at a level where they can reason with you either….no bribing :-)  BUT they will stay put for food, ha!   So….Benson got some Lay’s potato chips and he was a happy camper. 

I think they’re all going to be surprised by what we did get….enjoy your sneak peek Heeren’s!!!!  I’m SOOOO excited to meet new Baby Heeren this fall :-)

Today was a 3-shoot day.  A maternity shoot, a newborn shoot and a 2-month shoot.  Poor Ali got stuck with me for like 5 hours :-)  She’s always such a good helper….and she has 3 kids!!!  2 of which my mom was watching….SO THANK YOU MOM AND ALLISON!!!!!!  Those sneak peeks will be coming within the next couple days.  SOOOOO cute! 

For now we’ve got some nice weather and lots of family together….so I’m going to go hang out :-)
