On Wednesday Olivia and her parents came over to my sisters house for Olivia’s 2 year pictures……

Basically- we needed a place with really good light for her pictures, it needed to be indoors, the shoot was at 2:00 and I needed to take Sara to the airport at 4ish.  Sara & Ryan’s house is on the market, therefore their living room is almost completely cleared out and full of light!  Perfect!   :-) 

We did the shoot, I took Sara to the airport and then I drove back to Kirksville for my Thursday shoot.

So yes- Sara’s house worked out perfect for Olivia’s 2 year pictures.  Alicia (Olivia’s mom) emailed me earlier this summer with some of her ideas, she’s a designer (remember….that’s what I actually went to school for,ha!) so of course we both got really excited about her ideas.  She was able to get samples of some super cute wall coverings for Olivia’s pictures, she had 3 really cute dresses and then some really cute bow’s.  Really cute bows that Alicia actually made….more to come on that later….we’re schemeing :-) 

I LOVE ALL of Olivia’s pictures!!!!  Seriously- every single one of them.  She’s like the dream/this is never gonna happen again/easy breezy 2 year old model.  I would never expect any of my 2 year old clients to be this good because…well…they’re 2!!  2 year olds just don’t do that, ha! 

I think they’re so much fun.  You know what?  They also get me excited for my winter session’s…I know, crazy right?   I’m working on some really cute, fun ideas for indoor winter sessions….get ready :-)  I will have somewhat of a mini studio in Kirksville (yayy top floor of the Farwell Law Firm) and then I’m working on finding something to use for St. Louis.  Any of you from St. Louis have any ideas??  It would need to be centrally located, so that’s why I think it’s just going to end up being my apartment :-)  I just need to work on organizing it in way that I can easily convert it to a studio when I need to.   I will also be doing pictures outside this winter- again, lot’s of ideas going on.  The outside one’s will only be for the brave one’s who are just willing to go with it and trust me :-) 

oh man the wheels are turning faster and faster as our average temperature drops below 90….that means fall & winter are coming :-)

This evening I will head back to St. Louis for a big shoot tomorrow morning.  We’re going out to a farm bright and early!   So I’ll have that sneak peek and a sneak peek for Mr. Benson from yesterday.  THIS guy is now a year old!!!!  can you believe it???  More to come :-) 

P.S.- Alicia so kindly gave me those wall coverings!!!!  They are in the process of re-doing Olivia’s room and she got the samples for her room- but they didn’t work.  So she gave them to me…..yeah- they’ll be making several appearances this winter :-)  THANKS ALICIA!!!!
