Yesterday I went over to hang out with Miss Eva for a bit.

Her mommy, Ashley, goes to school with Kristian and that’s how she found me. 

Kristian is one of Ryan’s (my brother-in-law) little sisters and of course she is one of Brady’s aunts.   Kristian’s “aunt style” is similar to mine in that she ADORES her nieces and nephews.  I know she LOVES seeing pictures of Sassy Pants and Brady boy on here- so, Kristian, I’ve got some good one’s of Brady for you :-)   Most of you probably haven’t seen Brady when he’s….pooping…..it’s the funniest thing.  He get’s on his belly and then scrunches his legs up, sticks his bottom up in the air and then grips the floor and pushes as hard as he can…and of course smiling if need be, hahahahha :-)    Well- he found a bar stool at my parents house that worked wonders for his pooping style.

Ok- so yesterday I got to meet little Eva.  SUCH a cutie!  She did awesome and even let us do her last picture that her father so desperately wanted.  It was a close call and I wasn’t sure if we were going to get it, but she finally gave up.  She was stuck in a guitar case, with a Tool (the band) onsie on, a pink tutu (that was meant for a dog,ha!) and just flat out tired.  She was ticked-off  (rightfully so), but she gave up in the end….they always do, hahahaha :-) 

Thanks for all the smiles yesterday Eva, you made my day :-)  Isnt’ that so true??  babies smiling at you can just turn your day completely around.  Not that I was having  a bad day or anything- it’s just such a fun thing when you get smiles out them.

So you want to see something funny??  Miss Briley Mae’s big 4th Birthday is coming up at the end of the month and she’s having a Super Hero Party.  Um…..Briley would prefer to just be a boy.  She loves robots, pretend battles, swords, the color blue, jeans, etc.  She hates dance class, she hates to wear dresses, she doesn’t play dress up and she dances like she’s at a hoedown….not very princess or ballerina like.  She breaks her mom’s heart :-)  Autumn is such a girly girl.  She loves to dance, she loves dresses and she was so excited when she got her blue-eyed, curly blonde hair little girl.  oh the possibilities!!  The tea parties, the tutu’s, the dress up, the clothes, etc.

Just to show you how “boy” Briley is….here is her Birthday wish list that Andy sent us the other day.  Andy quoted exactly what she said when asked what she wanted for her birthday. 

“Those water guns with the faces on them and the eyes on them”
“Batman”
“Those silly helmets by the bikes at walmart”
“Those bike things when you pedal with those little things behind you…with the seats behind you?  I like those”
“Those shooting things with the sticks come out them with the guns..remember those?  I like those.”
“The picture with the baby toy on it…I want that for my birthday for Baylor.”
“A soft blanket”
“Those cheetos things that are not orange…yellow.”
“A house toy…a doll house.”
“Another pool because Viva chewed on it…we should’nt leave it in the back yard because Viva chewed it.

The next two months for our family is chalked full of Birthday’s.   We just had Baylor’s Birthday, we have Jackson’ birthday this weekend, Briley’s birthday Easter weekend and then we have Bella, Brady & the twins birthdays in a couple weeks.  We’re going to do one big birthday party in Bentonville over Mother’s Day weekend.  It should be entertaining :-) 

So- for the “2010 spring babies” (Baylor, Brady, Colton & Carolina), I gave them all the same thing for their birthday’s.  I went ahead and passed them all out at Baylor’s birthday party since they were all getting the same thing…..and I’m just not good at keeping surprises to myself :-)   They got shirts, custom made by their favorite aunt, beach towels for grandma & papa’s pool and Crayola’s AWESOME colored bubbles.  Please note that the dad’s HATE the colored bubbles because they “stain” their driveways…they don’t really stain anything- you just have to use water AND soap to get them out, so of course we have to be all dramatic and say they stain everything.   Needless to say, they were so happy when they saw that was part of the gift, ha!  I made a rule that they can only be used in the grass :-)   

I was SO proud of my shirts.  I’m on a total ” transfer paper” kick and I’m making anyone and everyone witty shirts.  I’m out of control.  So here’s what I made the boys


 I saw the “laugh” t-shirt at a local store for $$$, so I just decided to make them myself…and I did them a little differently…and I love them :-)  Of course they needed matching bow-tie shirts for their fancy events. 

Then for Carolina I had my mom sneak her away while she was in Dallas and take a profile picture of her cute little curls and her sucking her thumb so that I could do a silhouette of her.  So I did the silhouette and printed them on transfer paper and made a few shirts for her :-)

THEN I took it a step further and made a shirt for this little cutie.

Just to give you a little background for you…..When Owen was born, Briley kept referring to him as “the owen” and it stuck with all of us.  She would be like, “where did The Owen go???”  Kaitlin & Zane decided they LOVED it and thought it was pretty funny. 

So what do I do??  I make a shirt :-)  (with a picture I traced of  The Hangover baby, hahah!)

Ha!

So that’s all I have for now.  I’m currently not making any shirts- but I’ll let you know if I come up with any others :-)

Now I need to work my tail off and return a massive amount of emails.  Go me!

  2. What a cutie! The ruffle butt, tennis shoes and rolls is too precious and you are right – It only looks that way on little ones! Brady loves you but he may have to hurt you when he gets older and realizes you gave away his pooping secrets!
