So…..

my computer finally made it to my doorstep and no….it did NOT happen last Friday as planned.  Long flippin’ story.

Yesterday- after spending a weekend in KC while shooting a wedding- I was supposed to watch Bella & Brady while Sara and Ryan went and closed on their new house….sad sad sad……don’t even want to talk about it.   So anyway- we had to change plans and they had to bring the kids to my apartment so we could sit and wait for my new computer.  Fed Ex typically comes around 2ish, so it was going to be a loooonnnggggg day of just hanging out in my tiny apartment with a 2 year old and a 6 month old.   

At 10:00 I was on my couch, in my PJ’s (bella and I had a pajama party) with a snuggly little Brady boy asleep on my chest and a sassy little girl running around destroying my apartment.   Then I hear a truck pull up……. oh holy crap it’s Fed Ex!!!!!  I screamed, jumped up and went running towards the door (all while holding brady tightly…trying to lessen the shock…he’s kinda sensitive and is a bit of a scaredy cat) to meet the fed ex woman.   I think she could tell I had been waiting forever and a day for this darn computer :-) 

I immediately flipped on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, put Brady in his bumbo, gave Bella something to organize (she’s o b s e s s e d with organizing things) and started ripping open the box!  I was instantly in a better mood and instantly relieved. 

oh my goodness- I can’t even describe the weight that was lifted.  I’m still super behind, but I’m busting out shoots like lighting :-)  I also got a MASSIVE sneak peek ready. 

I hope you’re ready for this- I think it’s the biggest sneak peek I’ve ever done.

I would like to say that I’m super happy now that I have my computer….. but……….  Sara, Ryan, Bella & Brady are officially leaving me on Thursday :-(

I would like to say that I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to think about it….but……I think about it a lot and ugh!  it just makes me sad. 

Their move is a good thing and I know it will be very good for their family.  Lots of good will come of it, but it still just sucks.   Sara and I finally got our own schedules and could plan all sorts of fun things and hang out all day if we wanted….then BAM- I hit head on with my busy season and they found out they were moving.  Spring & Summer flew by and I feel like I barely got to hang out with them.  Now that I’m sort of dying down (even though my editing pile is never going to ned), they’re moving in like 1 day.  I know it’s only 4 1/2 hours away and they’ll only be there for about 2 years or so….but Bella will be 4 or 5 when they get back and Brady will be the age Bella is now.  THATS what makes me sad :-( 

I will more than likely be crying for the rest of this week….  thanks alot Energizer……NOT!   I know sara & ryan both really appreciate the whole “you employing Ryan” thing, but I’m not so thrilled about the whole transfer to Bentonville…..that’s just me though…..and I guess it doesn’t really matter what I think…..so I guess I’ll stop :-)

ok- I have to change subjects because I’m getting sad.

I did a super cute wedding this past weekend in a super cute town and it super exhausted me and super hurt my feet because I was breaking in my super not cute wedding shooting shoes.    Did you get that??? :-)  Anyway- I have that sneak peek coming within the next few days, so get excited Monica & Ryan!!!!!    I also have a sneak peek for a handsome little boy who had his very own shoot on Thursday.
