{I faced one of my biggest childhood fears}

The fire station….

Hated it when I was little.  H A T E D   I T !!!!  I think it was from one day in pre-school (or at least I think it was pre-school) when they made us do that Smoke House thing.  You know what I’m talking about??  They made you crawl around that little play house type of thing that was filled with smoke??  SCARRED ME FOR LIFE!!!    Luckily I’ve grown up a bit since pre-school and I was able to go into the fire station without having a panic attack and screaming for my parents :-)   

Poor little Gavin is still in that fearful stage, so when his mom and I took him to the Shrewsbury Fire Station, he wasn’t super happy about it.   You  know how little boys love fire trucks, air planes, helicopters, tractors, ships, etc and then once they actually get to see one, up close and personal….they freak out :-)   At first, Gavin wanted nothing to do with anything the firemen were offering him, but at the end of our session, he was ready to drive the fire truck out of the garage, ha!   I would have stayed longer, but I had another shoot to get to in rush hour traffic.  Luckily I was still able to get some really cute ones to use for his big Fire Truck Birthday party.   

Gavin, thanks for not going into a total freak-out, melt down, panic frenzy…..which is what I totally did at your age :-)   Enjoy your sneak peek!

Next up was the Zimmerman family.  Their shoot took place on at a country club where Ty is the Golf Pro.  It involved driving our cars on cart paths.  I told Ty I had done that before, but I wasn’t with a Golf Pro  :-)  …..I don’t think he found it near as funny as I did.  ha!   Little Lindsey was so smiley for her shoot and one of the easiest kids I’ve ever photographed.   Such a fun little family :-)  Enjoy your sneak peek Zimmerman Family!!
