This is true.

Real quick before I forget-  this is important.  If you call/email me about a shoot and we tentatively set a date, you say you need to check with other people and you’ll get back to me, that’s totally fine BUT….you need to let me know as soon as possible when you find out for sure if that date works for you.  I can’t hold the date until I know for sure, therefore the date is still open to other people.   I’ve run into a few problems with people tentatively picking a date and then not getting back to me for awhile, after someone else has already confirmed and booked that date.  SO- IN ORDER TO MAKE SURE YOUR SHOOT IS GOOD TO GO- YOU NEED TO GET BACK TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WITH CONFIRMATION ABOUT YOUR DATE. 

ok- back to my post.  My computer might drive me to the official brink of insanity.  I scream at it all the time.  It’s getting slower and s l o w e r  and s…l…o….w….e….r……………………..

This, in turn, prevents me from doing the MASSIVE amount of work I need to get done.   I can still do it, it just takes foooorrreeevvvrrrr (if you could “hear” me say that- I would be saying it like that kid in Sandlot) and it has now led me to believe that my head is going to explode.    It’s that or I just have a really bad headache. 

I have 57 pictures/6 sneak peeks to post right now.  Here’s the run down

1st- Mr. Jacob Jones– Senior 2011- future president of the United States- extremely tall- super awesome kid- made me laugh a lot! – I have it on good authority that this kid showed up to preschool with a briefcase and not a book bag – I really like his idea of library-type pictures, they turned out very cool!

2nd- The Lunsford Family– One of my new favorite families- Miss Morgan has THREE boyrfriends….and they don’t know about eachother….makesure you check out her “sassy” picture, apparently that’s the look she gives her boyfriends when they screw up, ha! – jacob and his hat were TOOOOOO cute – the whole family was way too stinkin cute :-) 

3rd- The Berrey Girls- IF YOU READ THIS BLOG AND KNOW JIM BERREY, DO NOT TELL HIM ABOUT THESE PICTURES (this is all assuming he doesn’t look at my blog himself, ha) because it’s a surprise- LOVE LOVE LOVE these girls, how could I not?  they said I was pretty :-) – they all act about 10 years older than I do –  I think the pictures of them in front of the orange tree are AWESOME-  I hadn’t been on the KCC golf course in abouuuutttt 10 years or so…weird – turns out it’s a really great place for pictures in the fall – these girls were a blast and their mom was one of my absolute favorite teachers in high school :-) 

4th- Lindsey & Nick– gettin’ hitched in June, woot woot! – Lindsey told the funniest story about her and Nick and I would love to tell it on here….but I’ll leave that up to her :-)  –  She had thee HIGHEST heels I have EVER seen and she rocked them.  Even though I was in pain just looking at them, she did just fine cruising through Truman campus – they had some inspiration for their wedding while we were out at the lake….there was a nice little ceremony and reception going on just up the street from where we were and we’re 90% sure the groomsmen rode to the ceremony in the cab of a tractor trailer.  oh Kirksville :-)  –  I’m super excited for their wedding, I know it will be fun to photograph! 

5th- Jack & Jen– oh man this kid just makes me laugh – Jen is an AWESOME mom- we got smiles out of Jack this time, even though he still gives me serious looks all the time :-)  – I love the lighting, colors, their eyes, the hair, etc.  everything pulled together so well.  –  I always get the best “in the moment” type pictures with Jen & Jack, they’re just cute :-) 

6th- Grammy with Caroline & Lane- This one actually took place this past week in St. Louis, but I need to get their sneak peek up along with everyone else’s- I went to Fairview Heights, IL for this and it turns out it was cloudy and a little rainy over there, which wasn’t helping too much (lighting wise) for our 6:00 shoot – it wasn’t cloudy just west of the park, so we ended up with this GORGEOUS sunset lighting- Caroline & Lane were SUPER funny – poor Grammy got attacked a couple times, but they made for cute pictures :-)  I feel like they’re the perfect “this is what Grandma has to go through” type of pictures, ha!  They’re always pulling on ear rings, honking noses, pulling hair, wiping snot on sleeves, hanging on your legs, etc.  love it :-)  –  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the one of them running to her! 

So there you have it!  Enjoy all the sneak peeks that are FINALLY getting posted.   As soon as I get my new computer (which I will be ordering on Thursday- oh yay for more money out the door- but so worth it!)  and I will be SPEEDING through all my work and maybe I’ll be caught up by January….then I’ll just spend that month drinking margarita’s, going back to Kirksville just so I can hang out with my mom and annoy her all day, catching up on movies I missed, going to Bentonville every weekend to visit Sassy Pants and Brady Boy, playing Wii Just Dance, sleeping and……….let’s face it…..working :-)

I also had two shoots this weekend- so more sneak peeks to come :-)   I promise I will be returning emails, phone calls & text messages tomorrow (I hate texting…I’m horrible at it…its better to just email me), so don’t start panicking yet. 

I will also be posting my Christmas Card Package & Christmas Card templates tomorrow.  They MUST get posted tomorrow, because in all honesty…they should have been posted weeks ago!
