{Dallas Sneak Peeks}

Hello, hello!  Thank you for a ll the sweet and encouraging comments on the blog and on Facebook.  I’ve even gotten some really sweet phone calls :-)   It’s nice to hear people say, “you know what- it’s okay to be ticked off.  That’s a lot of money out the window!”   So I’m mad, but I’m also moving on and starting to build it all back up. 

Before I start showing some super cute sneak peeks- I want to go over a few things.

1-)  I know I TOTALLY missed my last weigh-in with all the craziness that was last week.  I said I would do it last Wednesday….and I didn’t get around to that either…SO- we’re going to do FOUR winners on the next weigh-in day.  The next weigh-in day is Monday, so get ready :-)

2-) To all my wedding clients that could be secretly freaking out after hearing that all my lenses were stolen….DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT.  I will be covered.  I’ve already rented out lenses, flashes, etc. and I have back-ups and other sources for lenses, so we’re good :-)   It will be as if my lenses weren’t even stolen.

While in Dallas I did two shoots for some cute families.  First up is the Fernandez Family!  Devin has done pictures with me every time I’ve been in Dallas, so it’s been fun to watch David & Daniel grow :-)   When I did pictures last May, Daniel was just a little tiny baby and now he’s almost walking!!!!   Thanks for coming over Fernandez family and enjoy your sneak peek!

Then later in the week Amanda had me do a shoot for the builder of her new house.   Amanda loved listening to Stony talk about his family and how much he loved them, so she decided it would be perfect to get them a family shoot as a Thank you Gift.   She said he was just so easy to work with through the whole process of building a house (which everyone knows can be a nightmare) and she wanted to give him and his family something they could have forever.   I think Stony thought I was crazy when we went to the pictures spot I picked.  It was so random.  There wasn’t a lot to it, it was just tree’s and grass, but that’s what I like sometimes :-)   After they see them all- I think they’ll know what I was going for.  You guys were so much fun to work with and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!!!  Oh- and thanks for building my sister’s house….I loved it :-)

Then that big storm blew in that night and some dumb person stole my stuff.  blah.

BUT- before they took my stuff I was able to get some pictures of all these little cuties who have BIG birthday party coming up on May 7th.  Bella, Brady, Colton & Caorlina are all have a joint Micky Mouse (to pump all the kids up for our big Disney Trip in June)  Birthday Party in Bentonville and it is going to be vverrrryyyy entertaining :-)  Amanda & Sara wanted to get some pictures of the kids in their Mickey Mouse gear to use as party decorations. 

You cant tell me you dont just want to snuggle with this baby boy :-)

NO ONE loves Mickey Mouse more than Brady. Theyre BFFs :-)

Now this girl took some work. I had to promise a trip to walmart in order to get these pictures done, ha! I wonder who gave her those adorable converse tennis shoes??? ;-)

I just love him. Hes so sweet, so serious, so silly and so busy :-)

 

Oh dear lord someone needs to make a Disney character based off her!!! Do you see the socks??

Shes trying to show off her ruffled bloomers :-) BTW- its near impossible to get this girl to stop sucking her thumb.

We also wanted to get a picture of Carolina in her cute little polka dot dress….then Carson felt left out and requested his own picture in the pink chair :-)

SO that’s it for now.  I had 4 AWESOME shoots yesterday, full of adorable pictures that I will post a sneak peek for them…..tomorrow.  I tried to get it together today, but it’s just too many pictures.   No worries- it’s totally worth the wait! 

I’m off to return a mass amount of emails- wich me luck…I’m going to need it!

  2. The Mickey Mouse pics turned out adorable!!! You are totally right – Brady does look like he is on a roller coaster! What is up with my kids and their tounges by the way??? Colton and Carolina have me giggling – so so cute! And Carson looks handsome as always…even in a pink chair. Your family pictures are beautiful also and the lighting in Stony’s family pictures is AMAZING!!!!

Lissy, the picture are wonderful, the kids, the babies, so sweet, just want to hug and squeeze them they are so sweet, and yes is our BELLA, wish I could be close and listen to these kids and there chatter, your work is awesome, hope things begin to work out for you and the cameras, I feel bad for you.

  4. I love, love, love all of these pictures ~ Devin’s little boys are adorable, and Stony’s family pictures are GREAT ~ genuine and real!!
    Brady boy has the cutest little toes ~
    Sassy Pants’ smile warms the day every time!!
    Colton “mr.ceo” charms with his smile but please get him off the chair – “honestly – he has things to do!”
    Carolina loves “just sitting” on the chair – relaxing, enjoying her socks :)
    and Carson- love this little boy!!!

  13. Fab info. Btw have you heard about this product: http://bit.ly/2N5npwG Looks like it’s one of those products you don’t normally talk about. I have come across it a while back and I think I’d give it a try just to see how good it is. Have seen some video reviews on Dailymotion and they look legit (I mean not scripted). Not many products out there have so many positive reviews. Have a look on it, maybe this can finally solve our problems (or at least yours).

Great article and useful information which I have bookmarked and will come back to.I have a question about a simple blog…I want to create a cheap and easy blog for a special event for someone who is away and will be missing their significant birthday. Basically I want a platform for people to post photos and/or videos and their best wishes. Is there such a thing? I know I could do a Facebook page and block her from it but I thought a blog might be slightly more cool. Is this even possible? I use wordpress for my other blogs but didn’t think it would be possible to allow others to post photos and videos on a blog without giving them all the sign in code which I’d rather not do. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I’ve seen that BlueHost is mentioned in your article a lot, and that makes perfect sense as one of the best website hosts. You might also wanna recommend HostGator in your article–their uptime and speed are quite excellent as well. But, re: topic, I’ve been using WordPress for my sites as I feel like it’s the only one that offers all the features that my website needs.
