Today I went and hung out with a dear friend I never get to see anymore because they moved to no where Illinois. She had THIS baby girl back in August and I about died when I saw her today.
HOLY CUTENESS!!!!
Seriously- you’re all going to go beg your husbands for more babies after this post…I just know it :-)
Lulu/lucy/Lucciana is one of the cutest babies I have EVER seen. She’s so snuggly, smiley, squishy, etc. The amount of hair on this girl is insane! You’re going to love it. in a couple of her pictures- her hair was pushed up in the back and she looks like Manny from Ice Age. You know the woolly mammoth that has the tuft of hair on top of his head?? ha!
Anyway- so I brought some lunch with me (because they don’t have food out there in the sticks) and we immediately started chatting about anything everything, catching up, laughing , etc. Eventually LuLu went to sleep….or at least we thought she went to sleep. I looked over at her during part of our conversation (expecting to see her sleeping) and this is what I saw. She totally eyed me for a good 5 minutes
Then I got some smiles :-)
THen we decided to get her changed for her pictures- yayyy!! I wanted to show the letters that they put in her nursery- LOVE THEM!!!!
OK- here we go……this is total squishy, spit bubbles, big eyes, cute bows, cute dresses, cute bonnet, TOTAL CUTE overload.
Not joking- she did so good that we did this all in 5 minutes.
She even smiled at me while her mom was changing her

The one of the left looks almost exactly like a picture I took of Bella when she was about this age.
This was her Turkey Day outfit and it was a must for pictures :-)

After pictures- she snoozed some more while Andrea and I talked. Early in the evening, Andrea was upstairs doing something and I was downstairs holding Lulu. I just happened to be standing diagonal from the back door, in the other room (mind you it was getting dark at this point), watching TV and then all of a sudden I see this black silhouetted figure pop up in the back door super quick. HOLY CRAP I ABOUT DIED!!! I leaped for the stairs and was ready to start running when…… I saw it was Gerrit getting home from work :-) My heart was RACING. I thought foresure it was some burglar getting ready to bust in the back door.
Good to know I’ll have the correct reaction if that ever actually happens………….not!
In other news- I’m still on my psycho editing frenzy. All I do is edit….unless I go to Illinois for the afternoon….but other than that, I edit. I will keep editing until I’m done and I will BE DONE BEFORE I LEAVE FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!! I’m going to spend Christmas visiting, drinking, give gifts, drinking, eating, receiving gifts, playing with my nieces & nephews, playing games, drinking, etc. After Christmas I can do all my “I’ll do that later” tasks that I have planned for January :-)
Truth be told- my plan is to be done with editing by Friday….ahem…in 2 days. Two days to edit 27 shoots and 2 weddings- I’m going to reward myself if I get this all done by Friday.

Quinn was sitting next to me as I read your post and looked at the sweet pictures of Miss Lulu. He saw her pictures and smiled behind his binkie and leaned toward the computer and giggled. I think he likes Lulu :) Who wouldn’t though?? She’s a doll!!
Could you maybe bring her home for Christmas?!?!
She is such a cutie and I love the ones of her in her little bonnet!!! How sweet. Oh – and her letters are awesome. Can Andrea find some for Brady because I was thinking about doing some for him and those are perfect – minus the flowers!
