{Baylor's Big Weekend}

EDIT:  Post your weigh-in guess to THIS post :-)  I know the post title is confusing people- but Baylor’s birthday trumps my weigh- in, so he got the title, ha!  Want some clues on my weight loss??  Scroll to the bottom of the post :-)

Well Andy & Autumn survived their weekend :-)   Baylor’s birthday party and baptism went off without a hitch!  The Dr. Seuss decorations were too cute, the food was awesome and Baylor was his handsome little self. 

For those of you who don’t know Baylor too well- he’s definitely a momma’s boy.  Like wants nothing to do with anyone except for his mom or dad.  Sometimes, if the timing is right, he’s distracted enough and is semi-tired….you can get him to snuggle with you.  I achieved this TWICE this weekend :-)   Add in the fact that the poor guy is teething right now and you have one tired and sick little boy :-(    We knew we would only have a very small window of opportunity for his 1-year pictures before he started not feeling well again.  We waited till he got up from his nap and then BAM we started moving.  I should say that everyone else waited patiently for him to get up from his nap….I on the other hand was completely impatient, ha!  Everyone was slowly getting into town and I knew if he didn’t wake up soon enough- we would be trying to do his pictures with like 30 people in the house.  Luckily we were able to get a few before he decided he was done with us.  I’ve never seen Andy & Autumn work so hard to get a smile out of Baylor :-)  They were all over place, crawling on the floor, tickling his feet, etc.    I think we got some really sweet ones :-)

I spy 4 sisters sitting in age appropriate order on the couch, ha!

I spy a sweet little baby boy, some chubby thighs and two toddlers that look like they got caught doing something they weren't supposed to do..........

I spy someone who has just discovered how much he loves watching his hands move.

I spy a cute birthday book that I forgot to write in....Autumn, I promise I'll do it next time I'm in town :-)

I spy yummy sugar cookies....I might have eaten like 15 of these over the weekend. insane.

I spy two self-proclaimed "Monster Killers" that were crazy enough to go outside and play in the freezing weather.

I spy a Monster Killing in progress. Fierce.

I spy some sunglasses. I was told these are a MUST for Monster Killers. It makes them look tough!

I spy two parents in training, hahahah!

I spy a red head telling on a chubby little paci thief. Please note that the previously mentioned "paci thief" doesn't even like paci's.

I spy a almost 11month old that appears to be the height of a 2 year old. Such a gentle giant :-)

I spy a cutie who LOVED....L-O-V-E-D his smash cake. Oh he was so funny :-)

I spy a giggling little boy who just smacked his dad in the face with a handful of icing. Funny little boy :-)

and then we sat around all night talking and eventually everyone got kicked out the house and back to the hotel :-)  

Next up- Baptism!

THANK YOU SO MUCH to Andy & Autumn for hosting us all weekend.  Everything was perfect!!!!  I’m sure  you guys slept very well last night :-)  See you in May for the next round of 1st Birthdays!!!!

Guess what today is ????  A Weigh-in Day!!!!  I really needed to stop doing these after a weekend of being with my family.  Not joking- I got back to St. Louis yesterday and worked out for like 2 hours.  I joked at Andy & Autumns that I needed to work out 6 times when I got home in order to make sure I didn’t screw up my weigh in too much.   I was joking about it, but turns out I pretty much did work out like 6 times.  I got home and did Level 1, 2 AND three of the 30 day shred.  I took a 10 minute break between levels and i thought I was going to die on Level 3, but I figured it was kinda like my punishment for eating the sugar cookies :-)  Then I took an hour break and did my elliptical for 30 minutes. 

I’m hoping it all makes up for another Family Weekend :-)

Wanted to let everyone know that I will be in the Dallas/Irving, TX area April 12-15 doing shoots.  My plan now is to do shoot’s on the 13th and 14th and keep the other days open so I can hang out with my sister and the kids.  Let me know if you want to book!!!  I’m excited to head towards warmer temps and sunshine!!!!!  :-)

  1. Such sweet pictures! The decorations were so cute, not to mention all the babies and toddlers! Is there where we post our guesses about weigh in?? I will guess 3 pounds 1 inch lost. I think your family is trying to sabotage your weight loss! Go you for being so motivated to work out!!
