{Baby Reed}

So….I stayed in Kirksville till this afternoon :-)

I just didn’t get everything done on Sunday that I wanted to get done before I left, I was tired and quite honestly- I seriously just didn’t want to go outside again…freaking cold!!!!   I was sitting in the dining room saying how cold it was and then all of sudden my dad runs upstairs, gets something and then comes running back down the stairs with his fuzzy slippers for me to wear :-)   Isn’t he the cutest?  ha!   Thanks dad!

Anyway- yesterday I did pictures for this little handsome guy.  This is Reed and he  is 9lbs…..NINE POUNDS!!!  He is the baby brother of THESE three little cuties and from what I hear, he is absolutely adored!    I’m sure his daddy was beyond excited when he found out he finally had his baby boy :-)

Reed was snoozing away when he arrived for his shoot, but it didn’t last long.  I think the only time he did fall asleep during his shoot, was while he was in the basket….and I think that’s just because he had cried so much about being put in the basket :-)   He also wasn’t having anything do with scrunching up or laying on his belly.  That wasn’t going to happen and he made that very clear from the get go, ha!  Just because he was awake doesn’t mean he wasn’t a perfect angel for his shoot.  His little looks had me giggling the whole time.  It was so cute to watch him follow his momma’s voice.  I got a picture of him full on twisting and turning his head to find his mom.  He could hear her standing behind him.  I just thinks his eyes looking up at her is the sweetest thing.

ugh…babies get me every time!   I want to go do that thing when you just go into hospitals and rock babies.  Isn’t it like a volunteer thing?  or does it even exist??  maybe I made it up….I swear I’ve heard of it.  

Ok- back to this cute baby that melted my heart.  Reed- you are too too too sweet and precious.  Enjoy your sneak peeks and I’m so sorry about putting you through the basket pose :-)

It's like he's saying, "Hi- my name is Reed. I like you and think you're nice, but I don't want to go to sleep and I don't want to lay on my belly....good luck with the pictures!"

Don't you just want to give him kisses?? :-)

Can you believe Christmas is less than two week away???  I’M SO EXCITED!!!!  This time, two weeks from now, I will have all the babies in the world to snuggle with :-)  Although- word on the street is that 3 out of the 4 are crawling these days.  Either crawling or doing that army crawl type thing they do just before they figure out how to actually crawl.  Carolina is and always will be a snuggler, so I know I can count on her :-)  Apparently when she got her shots the other day, she didn’t cry….she just got a pouty face, grabbed her giant silky flower/bow and pulled it down of her eyes and started sucking her thumb.   hahahaha! 

Ahhhh- I’m so excited to see everyone and just hang out with my family.  The countdown has begun :-)
