In the words of Clark Griswold…… Hallelujah, Holy S*ht! (oh my dad isn’t going to be happy about that one, ha!)
That was the exact phrase that went through my mind at 3:30 AM last night when I sent my last shoot to upload. I’M CAUGHT UP!!!! I didn’t finish everything (um- the 2 weddings and one newborn shoot I did last week), but other than that- I’M DONE!!! The weddings and the newborn shoot I plan on finishing tonight and tomorrow night. That is correct- only night editing for this girl :-)
This morning came early (7AM early), I did a shoot (an awesome shoot!) and drove back to Kirksville. It feels so good to know that i don’t have to jump straight into editing. I can actually just *sit* ….seriously just sit and do nothing. oh this is going to be a very nice 13 days :-)
My mom was beyond excited when she heard me bust through the doors with my car load of stuff to toss all over her house. God she loves me! I brought with me……..
3 bottles of wine…. (those are just mine….why would I bring wine for other people??)
2 roller bags STUFFED with TONS of clothes that I will more than likely not wear and 12 pairs of shoes….I packed at 2AM last night and I was not in the mood to pick out “outfits”….I just started chucking stuff in my bags.
1 big bag of laundry this whole “sara and ryan moving” bit has really thrown off my laundry. There’s NO WAY I’m doing laundry in my scary basement with a YELLOW washer & dryer from 1950…so it just piillleeessss up until I go home or to a siblings house :-)
Now I’m off to go eat, drink & be Merry for 13 days!
P.S.- I’ll be back here and there for fun posts :-)

WOO HOO!!! TOO FUN!!! So happy for you Lis. It’s going to be a fun two weeks. We are loaded and ready to head out. We will be heading out in 5 hours and 28 minutes. I told Todd to call me when he was on his way home from work so that I could load the kids and be waiting in the car when he gets home. 12 pairs of shoes … that’s pretty good. I packed yesterday over 6 hours and still packed 8 pairs of shoes. Anyways we are so happy that you have caught up on all your work. You go girl!!! See you Thursday!
WAY TO GO LISSY!!! I’m so proud of you and hope you enjoy your time off…although I’m pretty sure a fair portion will be spent falling asleep on the couch!

Lissy – you forgot the “Where’s the tylenol” at the end of his speech! It’s one of my favorites – I actually have it as my ringtone now. :)
