Obviously I love my snow storms and get ridiculously exited about any amount of snow, but it’s late March. I’ve got a taste of a few upper 60 degree days, I’m ready for flip flops and I’m just ready to get outside for photo shoots….so I stopped praying for snow a few weeks ago. What I’m trying to tell is that I promise this next round we *might* get is not my fault :-) Now let’s bring on the big Spring thunderstoms!!! ha!
I’ve got some sneak peeks for you! First up are these two cute little girls :-) Their photo shoot was a surprise for their dad, so let’s cross our fingers that he doesn’t stumble across my little blog here, ha! Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
I LOVE this one. Just makes me laugh :-)
Next up is Madelyn!! We’ll get to see her every month now, just like we did with her big brother, a.k.a. 1-Month Jack :-)
Next up is Mr. James Devine (sounds so fancy, right?) and all the fun that was included in his shoot :-) He is named after both his Grandpa’s, so his parents wanted to do some pictures that included memorabilia from both of them. One is a Law Professor and the other played for the Detroit Pistons back in the 70’s, so those pictures were all sorts of fun!
The last shoot I have is for Miss Lily and Mr. Jack. We orginally had the shoot planned for last Saturday, but apparently the whole day was just a completel disaster for them and neither kid took naps. We attempted the photo shoot, but it was quickly obvious it wasn’t going to happen. So we decided to try again the next morning, bright and early while the kids were at their happiest. We *kinda* had a tough go around the 2nd time as well, ha! Lily just wasn’t crazy about being anywhere other than her mama’s lap, but I think we tricked her enough to get some cute shots :-) The sibiling pictures practically had me in tears (from laughing). It just kept not working over and over again. One would be happy and then the other would be made or one wasn’t giving a good smile, etc. All of this is normal from time to time, so I wasn’t phased by it, but the client was a good friend of mine from high school and I just couldn’t help but giggle (I’m allowed to do that if I know a client really well) because it was just one of those things that you have to laugh at. I kept telling her it would be okay and we would take what we could get :-) I think they turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself!
Ok- now I’m off to bed! Wedding all day in Columbia tomorrow, then back to St. louis LATE tomorrow night and up early on Sunday for a day of shoots. Welcome Spring :-)
